Study in Australia
Music sits within Music & Performing Arts, and there are 227 registered courses in the subject across 35 providers. That is a fairly wide spread, so the choice is less about whether a course exists and more about which level suits you. Study levels run from Foundation and Diploma through Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree and Bachelor Honours Degree, up to Graduate Certificate. Providers include Adelaide University, the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne and Victoria University. If you are comparing options, start with the level you want to finish at, then check which of the 35 providers offer it. The Graduate Certificate suits someone adding music study later, while Foundation and Diploma give a shorter entry point.
