Bachelor of Midwifery

The Bachelor of Midwifery at Charles Darwin University prepares students for a professional career supporting women through pregnancy, labour, birth, and the early postnatal period. This three-year degree explores the scientific, psychological, and cultural aspects of childbirth and maternal health, with a strong focus on working in diverse Australian settings, including regional and remote communities.

Students undertake units of study across anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, neonatal care, and Indigenous health.
