Master of Philosophy

The Master of Philosophy at Bond University is designed for students who possess a strong interest in philosophical inquiry and wish to deepen their understanding of this rich field. The programme spans two years, encompassing a rigorous study structure that includes various units of study, each contributing to a cumulative credit point total. As part of the curriculum, students will undertake a significant capstone project or research thesis that explores a specific philosophical question or problem, allowing for in-depth analysis and original research. In addition to theoretical understanding, the programme incorporates work-integrated learning opportunities, where students can engage with philosophical practices in real-world contexts.

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) underlines the Master of Philosophy's structure, reserving two years for completion. The course is carefully constructed to equip students with essential analytical, critical thinking, and argumentative skills that are highly valuable across multiple disciplines. Due to its comprehensive framework, the programme is suitable for individuals looking to pursue an academic path or seeking to enhance their professional expertise in areas where philosophical reasoning is advantageous.

This qualification is well-suited for those who aspire to further their careers in academia, education, or other sectors that value advanced critical thinking.
